Potato Wedges with Sour Cream

Ingredients

1 Potato 1 medium size
2 Garlic 2 cloves, chopped & crushed
3 Chilli powder 1/4 tsp
4 Pepper 1/8 tsp
5 Oil 3 tbsp
6 Herbs (Rosemary, thyme, oregano) 1 pinch each – chopped
7 Salt 1/4 tsp
8 Bread Crumbs 2 tbsp
9 Cream 1 tbsp
10 Curd 1/2 tsp

Method

1 Wash the potatoes and cut them lengthwise into 8 pieces.
2 Take a ziplock pouch, shake & mix the ingredients (1 to 7)
3 Add Bread crumbs and shake again.
4 Baste the tray with some extra oil. Place the wedges,skin side down.
5 Bake at 250 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes
For the Sour Cream:
6 In a bowl, take cream and whip it with a hand blender.
7 Add 1/2 tsp curd, salt to taste. Mix it well.

Tips

1 Do not peel the potato skin as they are rich in nutrients
2 You can try out variants of sour cream. Eg –try adding tomato ketchup
