Potato Wafers

Ingredients

1 Potato 1 (Medium Size)
2 Oil 1 tbsp
3 Cold Water 1 Bowl
4 Salt 1/4 tsp or as per taste
5 Chilli Powder 1/8 tsp
6 Napkin 1 standard Size
7 Mayonnaise 1 tsp
8 Tomato Sauce 1/4 tsp
9 Oregano 1/16 tsp
10 Parsley 1 small sprig

Method

1 Slice the potatoes into thin layers using a slicer.
2 Dunk the slices into the cold water.
3 Wipe them dry with a clean napkin.
4 `Add salt, chilli powder and oil to the slices and toss them well
5 Take a microwave safe plate and layer a parchment sheet on it.
6 Arrange the slices on the parchment sheet.
7 Microwave for 2 to 3 minutes depending on the number of slices.
8 Dip – Mix Mayonnaise & Tomato Sauce together with parsley& oregano
9 Serve the crisp wafers along with the dip.

Tip

1 Check every 30 seconds, if the slices are crisp
2 Add, cheese, onion powder or garlic powder for variation in flavor.
