1 Plain flour 1/4 cup
2 Cumin seeds & Salt 1/8 tsp each
3 Oil 2 tsp
4 Water 3 tsp
5 Tamarind and Green chutney 1 tsp each
6 Curd, whisked 2 tsp
7 Mashed potatoes 2 tsp
8 Chilli Powder & Chat Masala 1/8 tsp each
9 Chopped Coriander Leaves 1/2 tsp
10 Sev Mixture 1 tsp
1 Knead the flour together with Cumin Seeds,Salt, Oil & Water(2 to 3 tsp)
2 Divide the dough into two and roll it out using a rolling pin into circles
3 Line the tart/cupcake mould with the circles to form the tart shape
4 Bake it in the oven at 200 C for 12 minutes and cool it on a cooling rack
5 Take one of the tarts and baste with 1/2 tsp of tamarind &green Chutney
6 Add 1 tsp of mashed potato.
7 Pour 1 tsp of whisked curd on top of the potato.
8 Top the curd with 1/4 tsp each of tamarind and mint chutney.
9 Garnish with a dash of ChilliPowder,Chatmasala,Sev& Coriander leaves
10 Repeat the same for the second tart as well.
1 Serve the papri tarts before its gets soggy.
