1 All Purpose flour 1/4 cup
2 Unsalted Cooking Butter 15 gms
3 Salt 1/4 tsp
4 Cold Water 1 tbsp
5 Egg, Spinach Leaf, Garlic Pod 1 each
6 Broccoli Florets,Shallots, 3 each
7 Oil 1 tbsp
8 Milk 1/4 cup
9 Grated Cheese 3 tbsp
10 Pepper 1/8 tsp


1 Knead the flour together with butter, salt&cold water
2 Roll the dough into a circle using a rolling pin
3 Line the tart mould with oil and then place the rolled out dough
4 Bake it in the oven at 180° C for 20 minutes and cool it on a cooling rack
5 Chop Garlic, Shallots and microwave for 1 minute along with oil
6 Add in blanched broccoli and chopped spinach leaf
7 Whisk in egg, milk, pepper& 1/4 tsp salt to make the filling
8 Layer half the cheese at the bottom of the crust
9 Add in the filling and top it with another layer of grated cheese
10 Bake for another 20 minutes at 180° C or until it turns golden brown


1 Replace spinach with basil for a variation of taste.
